Information on the event
Prague will see already the 10th edition of the Investment Treaty Arbitration Conference, an event which has become a well-recognised platform for sharing different views on issues in treaty arbitration as well as practical experience from this field.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation and reflecting the results of the previously shared survey, we are pleased to inform you that the 10th Investment Treaty Arbitration Conference is still on whilst it will be adapted to allow remote participation.
The live stream will start at 3:30 pm CET and last till about 7:00 pm CET.
The link to the live stream will be shared upon the registration a one day before the conference.
Programme
The Prague BIT Conference will take place on 1 October 2020 (3:30 pm – 7:00 pm).
The keynote speech on “The use and misuse of bifurcation in investment arbitration proceedings“ will be delivered by Alexis Mourre (President, ICC International Court of Arbitration and Independent Arbitrator), which will be followed by three panel discussions, namely:

Denial of justice
(chaired by Eduardo Silva Romero, Partner at Dechert)
